Being a part of government administration she was a member of District Industries Advisory Committee and as a member of District Board Kanpur in 1974.With an insight to help others she played an important role in rehabilitation of victims of 1984 riots and 1992 Hindu Muslim riots.
Being the Office bearer of many social Organizations such as ‘Indian Red Cross Society’, Central SamajKalyan Advisory Board, RashtriyaMahilaSansthan, and A.I.W.C. Mrs. Kaur has also organized various social campaigns like Eye check-up camps, Blood donation camps, educational seminars in many districts.
